Summary

This work has been written on the basis of a few reasons: historical, organizational, scientifc and purely human ones. Virtualistics as a modern independent branch of philosophical and scientifc thought developed over a quarter century, half of them - at the Institute of Human Studies RAS (IHS RAS). Only works of Center of Virtualistics’ Library (CV) includes three dozens names (http://www.virtualistika/. ru). Now it is time for preparing the review and introduction to the work of our team – propaedeutic of Virtualistics. It may give the impression of a certain “dismembered” of scientifc trends and developments of the center, but it’s really just an impression. And at frst glance. All of our works has the logic. But this logic is virtual, and therefore, it is not very much and not always obvious. I believe that the need for and propaedeutic is to introduce to the subject and to the logic of our scientifc activities. I hope that this work will fulfll this task in part. So monograph consists of three parts. Bylina or legend is quite appropriate as the evaluation of the narrative genre, but keeping in mind very specifc scientifc and philosophical content. The frst part is devoted to the history of the formation of Virtualistics from 80 , XX century up to establishing of IHS RAS. On the background of the events in the life of the center a systematic review of the primary phenomenological material is given, which was introduced into scientifc usage, as well as theoretical developments and the most important results of fundamental research of virtual realities, derived from IHS RAS in 1992-2004 are presented. Thus, it outlined a common space of Virtualistics: the structure of the body of texts that represent its primary theoretical core brought forth.

The second part – “Virtual human in the mazes of identities”, which describes a new phenomenological material of manifestations of psychological virtual realities in the development of human being in profession and life - is represented in the genre of essays of Virtual Anthropology. The name speaks for itself: a virtual paradigm opens up a new understanding of human being and his nature. A closer and in-depth view of the disclosure is directed to the paradigmatic confict in medicine – the explanation of non understanding of the nature of her pathology, which bears the generic naming “idiopathic” (not clear, the primary and etc.). Hermeneutic disclosure made on a clinical example of primary enuresis (bedwetting) and its correction based on the virtual campaign. The third part summarizes and outlines the prospects for further philosophical, theoretical and applied research in the framework of the Research Group “Virtualistics” of Institute of Philosophy RAS according to the plans which they were placed in 2002–2005.

Appendix has collected material needed to create the relief of history of Virtualistics: N.A. Nosov’ autobiography; Program of special course “Virtual Psychology”, prepared and read by N.A. Nosov has importance both historical and substantial for understanding of the genesis of philosophical foundations of virtual psychology. Rounding out the book chapter “Chronicle of major events of Virtualistics origin, creation and development of the Center of Virtualistics in the Institute of Human Studies RAS”, which are summarized in the table of events that predetermined the development of Virtualistics from 1986 to 2005.
